MyCollegeStudio Refund & Cancellation Policy

What you're buying

MyCollegeStudio's paid product, if and when one is offered, is the Season Pass 2026–27: a one-time purchase that would unlock the full product — every module, tool, and AI coaching feature — through May 31, 2027, the end of the 2026–27 application season. It is a one-time purchase with no automatic renewal or recurring charge: you will not be charged again unless an adult purchaser separately authorizes a new purchase.

MyCollegeStudio is free during our public launch, and there is nothing to buy in order to use it. Every account created while the free launch is open keeps full access permanently, at no cost; that access does not depend on any purchase, now or later, and we will not move such an account behind a payment. The Season Pass described above is a possible future product for people who create accounts after the free launch closes — if we introduce it, we will announce the closing date of the free launch, and the price of the pass, in advance, before anyone is asked to pay. Once a Season Pass is actually purchased, the access it unlocks through May 31, 2027 is a firm commitment, subject to this policy.

Who makes the purchase

Purchases must be made by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old, on the student's behalf; the purchaser's email becomes the billing contact. At checkout, the purchaser affirmatively agrees to our Terms of Service and this Refund & Cancellation Policy in their own name, acknowledges our Privacy Policy, and authorizes the student's use of the Service. You'll receive a durable receipt showing the price, any tax, the one-time/no-renewal status, the access end date, and a link to this policy.

Refunds

The adult purchaser may request a full refund for any reason within 14 calendar days after purchase by emailing support@mail.mycollegestudio.com from the purchase email address, or by providing the receipt.
Approved refunds return to the original payment method and end paid access. Processing times are estimates outside our control; banks and card providers typically post refunds within 5–10 business days once we issue them.
After 14 days, refunds are discretionary unless this policy or applicable law requires one.
A refund ends the Season Pass; the student's account itself (and everything they created in it) stays available on the free tier of record, and they can export their work at any time per our Privacy Policy.

Cancellation

Because the Season Pass does not renew and has no recurring charge, there is no subscription to cancel. "Cancellation" for us means:

You can stop using MyCollegeStudio whenever you like; access simply runs through May 31, 2027.
You can delete the account at any time from the profile page — deletion is immediate, complete, and permanent (export first if you want your work). Deleting an account does not itself create a refund outside this policy; email us and we'll talk it through.

The fine print, kept short

Prices are shown before purchase; any pricing on our site marked "planned" is not final until launch.
If paid access is never materially made available, the purchaser receives a full refund. If we permanently discontinue paid access for reasons other than the user's material breach before May 31, 2027, the purchaser receives a pro-rata refund based on unused calendar days. Temporary maintenance, force majeure, or immaterial outages do not alone require a refund.
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
